Concept
The iDrive combines the functions of many switches. These functions can be operated via the Controller.

Operating the integrated information systems and communication devices while driving can distract from traffic. It is possible to lose control of the vehicle. There is a risk of accident. Only use the systems or devices when the traffic situation allows. As warranted, stop and use the systems and devices while the vehicle is stationary.

Music hard disk
General information
Tracks from CDs and USB storage devices can
be stored on the music hard disk in the vehicle
and played from there.
CD: the tracks are converted into a compressed
audio format and stored in a directory
that contains the name of the album. If

Depending on the vehicle equipment and country
version, it may not be possible to receive AM
stations.
Radio Data System RDS
RDS broadcasts additional information, such as
the station name, in the FM waveband.
RDS is automatically active.
