Interior air quality
The air quality in the vehicle is improved by the following components:
- Emission tested passenger compartment.
- Microfilter.
- Air conditioning system to control the temperature, air flow and recirculated-air mode.
Depending on the equipment specification:
- Microfilter/activated-charcoal filter.
- Ionization.
- Fragrancing.

The automatic climate control achieves the set
temperature as quickly as possible, if needed, by
using the maximum cooling or heating capacity,
and then keeps it constant.

The Fatigue and Focus Alert helps to avoid accidents caused by tiredness on
long, monotonous
journeys. It is part of the Active Protection equipment (OE 5AL) included in the
